WWII Sperry A-2A Ball Turret
As used in the B-17 Flying Fortress and B-24 Liberator bombers over Europe and the Pacific during the fight against the Axis powers in the Second World War.
This is a complete, fully restored and fully functioning turret. It has been converted from the original 28V hydraulic system to run entirely on a 24V battery housed within the ammo can.
Fitted with replica (non-firing) AN-M2 Browning machine guns. These can be swapped for the real thing if desired.
These turrets are becoming extremely rare — fewer than five known examples worldwide remain in working condition. This restoration took years to complete, but the owner is now ready to move on to another project.

Original Avro Anson Control Column
The Avro Anson, Britain’s “Faithful Annie” was the RAF’s first monoplane with a retractable undercarriage and one of the most important training aircraft of the Second World War.
Originally designed for coastal reconnaissance, it flew anti-submarine patrols and air-sea rescue with Coastal Command before becoming the backbone of multi-engine pilot, navigator, wireless operator and bomb aimer training across the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan. It served with the RAF, RAAF, RCAF and many other air forces from 1936 and through WW2.
A genuine piece of aviation history that links you straight back to the crews who trained on “Faithful Annie” before moving on to the heavy bombers in the fight against Berlin and Tokyo.

This flap came of a British carrier based Hellcat fighter shortly after WW2.
Many of the US supplied lend lease aircraft based at Royal navy air stations in Australia at the end of WW2 were disposed of by dumping them into the sea, for this purpose holes were punched in the skins to help them sink, however this flap "fell off the truck" on the way to being dumped and has survived in very good condition.
It has original but flaking paint but minimal surface corrosion, good fittings, it would need a new skin to fly again or patches to keep it static.
